With the win, Storm Lake improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA) to face the Gaels in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Gaels come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. St. Edmond won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Siouxland Christian Eagles (Sioux City, IA) in a Western Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Woodbury Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA).
