High School Volleyball - Varsity Opponent tips Tuscaloosa Home Educators

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Varsity Opponent (, ) and the visiting Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors (Northport, AL), saw Varsity Opponent's volleyball squad nudge Tuscaloosa Home Educators by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Varsity Opponent improves its record to 62-157 on the season. The travel to Danbury (Lakeside, OH) to encounter the Lakers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Lakers go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Danbury won 3-0 in their recent league battle against St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH)

The Warriors now own a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evangel Christian for a Alabama Christian Sports battle on Tuesday, September 2. Tuscaloosa Home Educators will encounter a Lightning squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, AL). The Lightning record now stands at 6-4.
