The Comets (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA). The Clippers enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Clear Creek-Amana notched a victory over Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Demons battle the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Washington will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, IA).
