The Whitney Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Whittier Christian Heralds to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yorba Linda for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Whitney will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

The Heralds (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Magnolia (Anaheim, CA). The Sentinels go into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Magnolia was dropped by Orange (Orange, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
