Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Hughesville knocks off Sullivan County

Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Hughesville will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Midd-West (Middleburg, PA).

The Griffins now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millville for a Mid-Penn D4 challenge on Saturday, September 10.
