The Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) football defeated the host Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA), 21-12 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 8. Heritage will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 29-22 non-league loss to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA).

The Generals (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, North Stafford lost by Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA), 24-6, in a non-league bout.
