The Grant Lancers volleyball team (Van Nuys, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA)

The Highlanders (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Burroughs was dropped by South Hills (West Covina, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Grant will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA).
