The Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team (Edmonton, KY), was nudged 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY)

The Dragons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Purples enter the challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
