The Cary Imps held off the host Wakefield Wolverines soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league match.

The Imps now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Middle Creek for a Southwest Wake 4A match on Wednesday, September 7. Cary will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
