The South Rowan Raiders soccer team scored 9 points and limited the visiting North Stanly Comets to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Raiders face the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 6. South Rowan will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 2-2 non-league Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
The Comets now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwestern Randolph for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 6. North Stanly will face a Cougars team coming off a 1-1 non-league Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
