Nebraska High School Softball - Duchesne/Roncalli bounces Omaha Central

August 31, 2022: Omaha, NE

Duchesne/Roncalli (Omaha, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Sioux City for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 3. Duchesne/Roncalli will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Omaha Central falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Burke (Omaha, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a A District challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Burke won 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Buena Vista (Omaha, NE)
