The Hurricanes (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Cougars come into the WPIAL 3A 4 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Blackhawk lost by Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Quips clash with the Western Beaver Golden Beavers (Industry, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 battle, on Tuesday, September 6. Aliquippa will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Beavers come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA).
