With the win, West Aurora upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Blackhawks host Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL) to play the Tigers in a Southwest Prairie bout on Thursday, September 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Plainfield North lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL)

The Tomcats now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Peotone for a non-league bout on Friday, September 2. Aurora East will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Streator (Streator, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.
