In Wednesday's league contest, the Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the host North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cardinals face the Sullivan Golden Arrows (Sullivan, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 1. Bloomfield will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Golden Arrows go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN).

With the loss, North Central moves to 2-3 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to South Knox (Vincennes, IN) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 1. The Spartans go into the contest with a record of 3-4. South Knox lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Vincennes Rivet (Vincennes, IN)
