    August 31, 2023: Bad Axe, MI 48413

    In Thursday's non-league match, the host Bad Axe Hatchets football squad scored a close 22-16 victory over the Reese Rockets.

    In their next game, the Hatchets clash with the Harbor Beach Pirates (Harbor Beach, MI) in a Greater Thumb - East match, on Thursday, August 31. Bad Axe will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.

    The Rockets (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Patriots enter the Greater Thumb - West match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Unionville-Sebewaing was nudged by Marlette (Marlette, MI), 50-14, in a non-league match.
