In Thursday's non-league game, the Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV) football squad crushed the visiting Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 45-8.

The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mater Academy East Las Vegas for a 3A Southern contest on Friday, September 8. Boulder City will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 62-27 non-league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Vikings encounter the Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Mountain contest, on Friday, September 8. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Miners go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 32-6 non-league loss to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV).
