Virginia High School Football - Bruton gets by Nandua

The Bruton Panthers football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Nandua Warriors to 26 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Point for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Bruton will play a Pointers squad coming off a 26-21 non-league win over Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Pointers record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Warriors play the Snow Hill Eagles (Snow Hill, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. Nandua will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD).
