The Minatare Indians (Minatare, NE) football routed the visiting Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE), 40-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Banner County Wildcats (Harrisburg, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 7. Minatare will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 78-12 non-league loss to Sioux County (Harrison, NE).
