In Thursday's non-league match, the host Rosemount Irish football team scored a decisive 35-0 win over the Eastview Lightning.

With the win, Rosemount improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Irish travel to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN) to confront the Panthers in a Metro - South test on Thursday, September 7. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-0.

With the loss, Eastview moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lightning travel to Roseville (Roseville, MN) to confront the Raiders in a Metro - Maroon test on Friday, September 8. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 0-1. Roseville lost 55-14 in their recent non-league test against Woodbury (Woodbury, MN)
