Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA), 49-6 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mt. Pleasant improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Hill (San Jose, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-2. Hill lost 18-6 in their recent non-league test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA)

With the loss, Evergreen Valley drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Independence (San Jose, CA) to confront the 76ers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 9.
