In Thursday's non-league test, the host Sanderson Eagles football team scored a decisive 63-13 win over the Fort Hancock Mustangs.
With the win, Sanderson improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host Holy Cross (Midland, TX) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 0-2. Holy Cross lost 105-60 in their recent non-league test against Loop (Loop, TX)
With the loss, Fort Hancock moves to 0-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Marfa (Marfa, TX) to confront the Shorthorns in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Shorthorns go into the test with a record of 2-0. Marfa won 49-0 in their recent non-league test against Da Vinci (El Paso, TX)
