    The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) and the visiting Hillman Tigers (Hillman, MI), observed Mio-Au Sable's football squad bounce Hillman by a count of 50-0.

    The Thunderbolts now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Atlanta for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Mio-Au Sable will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 50-8 non-league loss to Alcona (Lincoln, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 0-2.

    Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Posen Vikings (Posen, MI) in a North Star - Little Dipper (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 8. Hillman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 56-14 non-league win over Rogers City (Rogers City, MI).
