Texas High School Football - United beat Marshall

August 31, 2023: Laredo, TX 78045

The United Longhorns football squad scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Marshall Rams to 7 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Thursday.

The Longhorns now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seguin for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. United will play a Matadors squad coming off a 45-22 non-league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 battle, on Saturday, September 9. Marshall will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 28-10 non-league loss to Brennan (San Antonio, TX).
