The Monterey Trail Mustangs football team (Elk Grove, CA), was beaten 28-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA)
The Grizzlies (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Nevada Union was beaten by Antelope (Antelope, CA), 20-9, in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Napa for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 14.
