The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) and the host Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY), saw Apollo's soccer squad triumph over Union County by a margin of 7-0.
The Eagles now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Owensboro for a District 9 test on Tuesday, September 5. Apollo will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Union County drops to 1-9 on the season. The Braves host Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY) to meet the Colonels in a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 2-5.
