In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Providence Pioneers soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the Columbus East Olympians.
The Pioneers (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN). The Red Devils go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Jeffersonville was overwhelmed by Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Olympians (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN). The Stars go into the Hoosier Hills battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Bedford North Lawrence nipped Owen Valley (Spencer, IN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
