The Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) football routed the visiting Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), 36-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 14. Kings Mountain will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Alexander Central walloped North Iredell (Olin, NC), 38-7, in a non-league bout.
