In Thursday's non-league game, the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), by a score of 24-14.

The Huskies (2-0) will now prepare for their game against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weddington for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. Butler will meet a Warriors team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.
