Nevada High School Football - Churchill County topples Galena

The Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) football defeated the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 26-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Greenwave face the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 8. Churchill County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV).

The Grizzlies (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Bishop Manogue lost by Central Catholic (Modesto, CA), 33-18, in a non-league bout.
