The Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) football defeated the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), 26-14 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 14. Foard will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 38-6 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
