North Carolina High School Football - South Caldwell topped by North Surry

The South Caldwell Spartans football team (Hudson, NC), was beaten 36-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC)

The Greyhounds (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Stokes (King, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, West Stokes achieved victory over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC), 22-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bandys for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. South Caldwell will meet a Trojans team coming off a 19-14 non-league win over Foard (Newton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
