Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons face the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Freeport will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Patriots now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greely for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 10.
