The Rio Americano Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Raiders now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick-St. Vincent for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Rio Americano will meet a Bruins team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-2.
The Wolfpack (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Rosemont (Sacramento, CA). The Wolverine enter the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Rosemont gained a win over Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
