The North Olmsted Eagles held off the visiting Valley Forge Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky River for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. North Olmsted will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview Park, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Columbia (Columbia Station, OH). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Columbia held off Black River (Sullivan, OH), 2-0, in a non-league test.
