The Bears now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson County for a District 30 test on Tuesday, September 5. Spencer County will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Atherton drops to 0-5 on the season. The Ravens travel to Highlands Latin (Louisville, KY) to meet the Highlanders in a District 27 test on Tuesday, September 12. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 8-1.
