The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) and the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), saw Moriarty's soccer squad get by Belen by a count of 1-0.
The Pintos now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ruidoso for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Moriarty will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Belen drops to 0-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5.
