Marion Giants (Marion, IN) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Giants confront the Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. Marion will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Caston (Fulton, IN).

The Bruins now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sheridan for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Blackford will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 1-1 non-league Western Boone (Thorntown, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 0-2.
