St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Christ Prep Academy Patriots (Lenexa, KS), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Guardians face the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. St. Michael the Archangel will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Roosters/Chicks enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Raytown South (Raytown, MO).

The Patriots now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maranatha Christian Academy/Kansas City Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2.
