Indiana High School Soccer - Edgewood knocks off Eastern Greene

Edgewood Mustangs (Ellettsville, IN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs face the Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) in a Western Indiana challenge, on Wednesday, September 6. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Knox (Bicknell, IN).
The Thunderbirds now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomfield for a Southwestern Indiana challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Eastern Greene will face a Cardinals team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.
