Indiana High School Soccer - Evansville Central knocks off Vincennes Lincoln

Evansville Central Bears (Evansville, IN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears confront the Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Evansville Central will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 league win over North Posey (Poseyville, IN).

The Alices now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Vincennes Lincoln will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
