In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Fort Zumwalt North Panthers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Howell Central Spartans.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO). The Bulldogs come into the Gateway Central battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Fort Zumwalt South nudged Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Orchard Farm (St. Charles, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Orchard Farm nudged Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
