In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Meade County Green Waves soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the John Hardin Bulldogs.
The Green Waves (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Bears come into the District 11 battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Butler County nudged Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY), 4-3, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Graves County by Murray (Murray, KY), 5-0, in a league battle.
