The York Catholic Fighting Irish smashed the visiting Mount Calvary Christian Chargers soccer squad by a margin of 6-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Trinity for a non-league match on Saturday, September 2.
With the loss, Mount Calvary Christian drops to 1-2 on the season. The Chargers host New Covenant Christian (Lebanon, PA) to encounter the Flames in a Commonwealth Christian match on Tuesday, September 5. The Flames come into the match with a record of 1-1. New Covenant Christian won 5-3 in their recent non-league match against Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA)
