In Thursday's non-league contest, the Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) softball team held off the visiting Okarche Warriors (Okarche, OK), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Kingfisher moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Mulhall-Orlando (Orlando, OK) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, September 1. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-8. Mulhall-Orlando lost 12-6 in their recent non-league contest against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK)
In their next game, the Warriors play the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs (Waukomis, OK) in a Class A contest, on Friday, September 1. Okarche will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Mulhall-Orlando (Orlando, OK).
