In Thursday's non-league contest, the Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bridgers face the Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 2. Ambridge will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, Uniontown moves to 1-1 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA) to face the Leopards in a WPIAL 3A 3 contest on Tuesday, September 19. The Leopards go into the contest with a record of 1-0.
