The Barnum Bombers held off the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.
The Bombers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Esko for a Polar test on Thursday, September 14.
The Rebels (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Esko (Esko, MN). The Eskomos enter the Polar test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Esko held off Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
