The Baxter volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Colo-NESCO Royals to 2 in the league victory on Thursday.
The now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martensdale-St. Mary's for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5.
The Royals (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Dunkerton was nudged by Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
