In Thursday's league contest, the Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) volleyball squad were winner over the host Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bearcats battle the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 5. Brookland will attempt to better on its 12-0 season record.

With the loss, Forrest City moves to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Westside (Jonesboro, AR) to battle the Warriors in a 4A Northeast contest on Thursday, September 7. The Warriors go into the contest with a record of 1-2.
