The Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) volleyball overcame the visiting Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Melrose upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Buffaloes host West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM) to face the Dons in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Dons go into the outing with a record of 2-1.

The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Estancia for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7. Capitan will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.
