The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA) and the host Delhi Hawks (Delhi, CA), saw Central Valley's volleyball squad nip Delhi by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Central Valley upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Hawks host Merced (Merced, CA) to play the Bears in a Central California Conference bout on Wednesday, September 6. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

The Hawks now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waterford for a Southern League bout on Tuesday, September 5.
